About Dr YR Rao

Dr. Yenigalla Raghavendra Rao has over 35 years of experience in field of Telecommunication and Information Technology. He serves as Advisor on several Government related initiatives including the State Wide Area Networks /(SWANs), Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Ministry of Shipping, Airports, Defence and Police Departments. He has also been consulted by United Nations Industrial Development Organization in the field of EMI/EMC.

Dr. Rao has been felicitated with Udyog Ratna, Rajiv Gandhi Memorial National Award and the National Award for Best R&D efforts in the Country in Electronics Sector by Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

Dr. Rao is the Managing Director for smartBridges India.
