The new design introduces an innovative way of connecting outdoor Ethernet CAT5 cable using weather proof casing. (Figure 1).

The RJ45 cable from the product terminates onto a RJ45 female terminal that is encapsulated in a weatherproofed casing (Figure 2).

The additional CAT 5 cable length as required is inserted from the other end of the weatherproof casing (figure 2). The RJ45 jack is connected to the RJ45 female and the weather proof casing screwed tight. This enables a watertight and weather proof connection of 2 CAT 5 cables.
