Product Overview

The airPoint Nexus PRO™ TOTAL is the ideal access point for service providers and enterprises to establish high performance Point-to-Multipoint wireless links. It has a built-in sector antenna with a vertical polarization [sB3212V]. For RF interference mitigation using polarization, the sB3212V can be connected to an external sector antenna on horizontal polarization [sB3802-1290H]. With the innovative integrated multi-band antenna, the airPoint Nexus PRO TOTAL seamlessly merges the license free ISM (and UNII) bands in 2.4 or 5.1 - 5.8 GHz frequencies for unprecedented interference mitigation capabilities.

The airPoint Nexus PRO TOTAL provides as much as 25 Mbps of data throughput and a range of up to 10 miles (16 km).

The airPoint Nexus PRO™ TOTAL effectively prioritizes traffic for voice, video and data applications with advanced Quality of Service (QoS) and optimized low latency.

With intelligent networking features and flexible configurations, the airPoint Nexus PRO TOTAL is perfect for remote video surveillance, Voice over IP and residential IP services.

Intelligent Networking Capabilities

QoS, VLAN pass through and bandwidth management allows for increased Return on Investment with personalized Service Level Agreements (SLAs) offerings. QoS capabilities of the airPoint Nexus PRO TOTAL enables operators to optimize the performance and usage of the wireless link. The bandwidth management capability coupled with multiple service profiles allows individual time-of-day based upstream/downstream bandwidth allocation for each client.

Secure Data Transmission and Efficient Network Management

The airPoint Nexus PRO TOTAL employs state-of-the-art data encryption algorithms complying with the IEEE 802.11i standard to secure wireless data. In addition, wireless data can be encrypted with strong 128 bit AES that complies with FIPS 197 for US Federal Government applications. The airPoint Nexus PRO TOTAL provides MAC and RADIUS based authentication methods. The network administrator can monitor the status of all access points from a central network operating center through the built-in web interface. The airPoint Nexus PRO TOTAL is SNMPv2 compliant and can be integrated with 3rd party network management software.

Quick and Easy Deployment

Field installation is expensive and time-consuming; therefore, the airPoint Nexus PRO TOTAL is designed for rapid out-of-the-box installation. The easy-to-use software makes setting up the network quick and cost-effective. External high gain antenna can be connected via the N-connector when added performance is needed. This flexibility allows a single base station to meet a variety of subscriber installation requirements. For certified antennas, click here.
