sB3900 ACS solves several problems associated with the management of a service deployment. smartBridges CPE devices can be installed and brought into service with zero configuration, either at the point-of-sale, the distribution center, or at the subscriber's premises. Devices deployed even behind NAT firewall routers are managed effortlessly, without firewall re-configuration, and new features can be enabled via automatic firmware upgrades. Real-time log information is also displayed in order to diagnose device configuration issues. For convenience, sB3900 ACS seamlessly integrates with other network management systems.
Application
Once a smartBridges CPE device is associated with the Access Point and connected to the Internet, it contacts the sB3900 ACS to check its current configuration. The sB3900 ACS instantly upgrades the firmware and configures bandwidth control, QoS, or other settings as per the subscriber’s Service Level Agreement (SLA). After the initial auto-provisioning, the CPE device contacts the sB3900 ACS at periodic intervals in order to maintain its SLA and optimize its performance.
