Customer Premise Equipment (CPE)

The choice of proper CPE is critical for the commercial success of any wireless project. In view of this, smartBridges offers CPE devices in the outdoor and indoor form factors to suit any performance and cost requirement. A large palette of optional software features allow the initial cost to be kept under control while allowing the network to be deployed with assurance of future scalability.

    

airClient™ 241 [sB3417] CPE Radio for 2.3 GHz to 2.5 GHz frequency range provides cost effective and scalable solution for the large scale carrier grade network requirements. The design objective of the sB3417 radio is to take the holistic approach and minimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the communication service providers. The sB3417 features Automatic Configuration System (ACS) for subscriber self-install, remote diagnostics and management capability for ease. The radios have adaptive noise immunity, high transmit power and ultra receive sensitivity to increase the reach to larger number of subscribers with fewer base stations. The radios are software configurable to provide a custom channelization plan for the licensed band owners for 5/10/20 and 40 MHz channel widths in the specified frequency range. The embedded networking processor is able to provide video, voice and data traffic prioritization, bandwidth control, IEEE 802.11i data security etc. All in all, sB3417 is a perfect CPE solution for deploying large and scalable wireless IP networks in challenging RF environments.

airClient™ [sB3416] CPE Radio is for 4.8 GHz to 5.9 GHz frequency range. The sB3416 radio features many of the benefits offered by the sB3417 radio as listed above.
